contracted forms

Contracted forms, such as wanna for want to and gonna for going to are usually displayed as two words in the corpus and thus have to be searched for as “wan na” and “gon na”, respectively. Similarly, can’t needs to be entered as “ca n’t” and won’t as “wo n’t”, etc. In general, any words that contain apostrophes also need a space in front of the apostrophe, e.g. “I ‘ll” and “woman ‘s”.
